Toyota ZONE takes top honoursat SA Publication Forum Awards
Toyota ZONE, the corporate publication of Toyota South Africa Motors published by RamsayMedia’s Custom Publishing division, has claimed top honours at the 2012 SA Publication Forum Awards.
Not only did Toyota ZONEreceivethe ultimate accolade –Best Corporate Publicationoverall – it also collected a clutch of individual category awards, including Best Corporate Publication overall and Best External Magazine (category A: bigger budgets).
The magazine was also winner of the Best Designcategory and runner-up for Best Communication, and received awards for excellence in design, writing and communication.
"We at Toyota South Africa Motors are immensely proud of this achievement,” saidFerdi de Vos, General Manager: Internal communications and Motorsport at Toyota South Africa Motors. “Not only is it the first time that Toyota Zone has been awarded the top accolade, but it did it in style – being recognised in all categories, ranging from design to writing and communication,"

Rabecommented saying he is thrilled at the magazine’s achievements, which confirms that the content strategy for the brand was firmly on track. “It is clear that our primary content pillars of people, product, places and perspective provide the right mix and appeals to the magazine’s intended audience.
“The bi-monthly publication is mailed to 35 000 Toyota owners, dealers and staff. As Toyota South Africa’s most important CRM tool, Toyota Zone plays a huge role in the motor manufacturer’s communication strategy,” added Rabe.

The SA Publication Forum Awards, now in their 12th year, are held to recognise and encourage excellence in internal and external corporate communications, including newspapers, magazines, newsletters, DVDs, websites and annual reports. Publications are judged for the quality of their writing, communication, design and photography.
This year more than 150 entries were received.
