just wondering ???
Displaying a resilience that would make Lazarus blush, the A1GP website has reappeared on the web this afternoon. Unless there is a change in content however, it does not really alter the thinking expressed earlier.

www.A1GP.com, the official A1GP web site, died last night. The series which had a lot of merit and potential has lunged from rope to rope over the last view seasons, but it seems that a TKO is now inevitable. After missing Surfers Paradise, despite Chairman Tony Teixeira's fervent assurances to the contrary, it has come to light that the red ink runs some $100 million deep. ( For the record - all the bills that MotorPics presented to A1GP - Team RSA and the Series Organisers over the last four years, were paid promptly and in full )
Energem, the source of Teixeira's millions, was first suspended and then delisted from Toronto Stock Exchange earlier this year. Now listed on the London Stock Exchange, it is receiving unfavourable publicity for using shareholders' money to buy the director's private jet.
Is it not the time for Gauteng Motorsport and for Team A1GP South Africa to get out of this mess ?
According to the latest report from the World Health Organisation, more people die from obesity than from hunger ?
After slagging Silverstone off for years, Bernie Ecclestone now sits with Donington who is in breach of their contract for hosting the 2010 to 2027 British GPs. Roll on Ari Vatanen !

Ferrari are neither denying nor confirming reports that it has pulled the plug on the engine supply deal they had with A1GP. The latest A1GP press release, outlining the refinancing of the beleaguered series by hirtherto unnamed financiers, sports a new A1GP logo
sans the Powered by Ferrari line. The first race takes place in 12 days, - tight even by A1GP standards ??
