Amarok’s entry level engine upgraded
 
The entry level engine of the Amarok model range has been upgraded from 90kW to 103kW.
 
The 13kW power boost of the four-cylinder 2.0 TDI engine with common rail injection improves driving performance. The acceleration from 0-100km/h is now 12.6 seconds (previously 13.2 seconds) and top speed is 168km/h (162km/h).
 
The engine torque of 340Nm, which is available at 1,600rpm to 2,250 rpm, remains unchanged.
 
The new entry level engine is available with rear wheel drive (4x2) and selectable 4Motion derivatives.
 
The 103kW engine is only offered with the Trendline equipment line. There are a number of optional features on offer to customers that wish to individualise their cars. These include 17, 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels; communication package (multi-function leather steering wheel, Bluetooth cellphone preparation) and Park Distance Control – front and rear; RCD 310 Radio/CD with 6-speakers.

Service and Warranty
 
The Amarok Double Cab model range comes standard with 3 year/100 000 km manufacturer warranty, 5 year/90 000 km Automotion Service Plan and 6 year anti-corrosion warranty. The service interval is at 15 000 km.
